The $1,000 Grant Allen Scholarship is available to any student attending a post secondary school who can write an essay about what Rush Lake means to them. Application instructions are posted at area schools and on this website each winter. The scholarship was initiated in 2006 in memory of Grant Allen Jestus. Water Quality Sampling – Rush City High School

Check out this short video about the Rush City High School Introduction to Environmental Science class, led by instructor, Eric Telander, testing the water quality entering Rush Lake. The project was funded by an RLIA grant given in 2017 for $500.
