The Hinckley Area Fisheries office is proud to release its first newsletter. This will be a good way to keep informed of the work being done to manage lakes in Pine, Kanabec, Isanti, and Chisago counties. The newsletter is available on the DNR website: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/areas/fisheries/hinckley/index.html. The following board members were re-elected: Brenda Green, Sue Griffin, Gary Reilly, Ron Rogosheski, Steve Stauff, and Greg Tschida. Thanks for all you do for the lake association! We look forward to all your future accomplishments in your next term.

2019-06-15-RLIA-Meeting-Minutes-

Turtle Races were held on June 15th, 2019 after the annual meeting.  It was another success with 13 kids from ages 10 months to 14 years old.  One of the fastest turtles was Rocketman!  Over half of the kids caught their own turtles!

The winners of the 2019 Grant Allen Scholarship are as follows:  Seth Hora, Rush City High School; Elena Herberg, Rush City High School, and Ben Schommer, Cambridge-Isanti High School.  All 3 recipients received $1,000 – Congratulations!
